After a rare dip in early 2017, commercial & industrial loans rose a still-doleful +0.7% annualized in 17Q2. Total loans were stronger, up nearly +4% annualized last quarter. Over the past year, C&I volume is up +1.9%, while the total has risen +3.5%.
